Not every website problem needs a complete rebuild. Sometimes you just need an experienced second opinion.
I've been helping businesses solve website problems since 1997. If you've received a proposal from another developer, you're planning a redesign, or something about your website doesn't seem right, I'll review it and give you an honest, independent opinion.
I'll look at areas such as performance, technical SEO, security, usability, maintainability, and overall site health. If you have a proposal, quote, or recommendations from another developer, I can review those too and explain them in plain English.

Do you review websites built on platforms other than WordPress?
Yes. Although I specialize in WordPress and Joomla, I can also review websites built on platforms such as Shopify, Wix, Squarespace, Webflow, and custom-developed websites. The review focuses on the technical quality of the website rather than the platform itself.
Will you review another developer's quote or proposal?
Absolutely. If you've received a proposal, estimate, or recommendations from another developer, I'll review them and explain what they mean, identify any concerns, and let you know if the recommendations seem reasonable based on the information provided.
Will you always recommend fixing my existing website?
No. If I believe a rebuild or major changes are genuinely the best option, I'll tell you. My recommendations are based on what I believe is the right technical solution, not on selling additional work.
Do you fix the issues you find?
This gig focuses on reviewing your website and providing recommendations. If you'd like help implementing the changes afterward, we can discuss that separately.
What information do you need from me?
At a minimum, I'll need your website address and a brief description of your concerns. If you'd like me to review a developer's proposal or quote, you can upload that as well.
Can you guarantee you'll find a problem?
No. Sometimes the best outcome is confirming that your website is in good shape or that a developer's recommendations are reasonable. An honest review is more valuable than finding problems that don't exist.
Is this a design review?
No. This service focuses on the technical side of your website, including performance, usability, technical SEO, security, maintainability, and overall implementation. If I notice obvious design or usability concerns, I'll mention them, but this isn't a graphic design critique.
Will you sign an NDA?
Yes. If your website or documentation is confidential, I'm happy to work under a reasonable non-disclosure agreement.
Why should I get a second opinion?
Website rebuilds, migrations, and major technical changes can be expensive. A second opinion can help you understand your options, identify unnecessary work, confirm that a recommendation is reasonable, or highlight risks before you commit.
