What genres do you work with?
I specialize in science fiction, fantasy, and speculative fiction, but I also edit general fiction, creative nonfiction, and science-based nonfiction. If your project blends genres, I’m all for it! Just send me a message.
What does each package include?
Basic: Proofreading only (spelling, grammar, punctuation) Standard: Includes line editing (tone, sentence flow, word choice) Premium: Full line + developmental edit (structure, pacing, characters, world-building—with a critique letter)
Do you provide tracked edits?
Yes. I use Word (or Google Docs if preferred) with tracked changes and in-text comments so you can easily review and accept suggestions.
Will you rewrite or ghostwrite for me?
No. I’ll suggest improvements and help you strengthen your own writing, but I won’t rewrite large sections or create new content from scratch. Your voice stays yours.
Can you check my science or world-building for realism?
Yes, this is my favorite part! If you want feedback on scientific plausibility, world logic, or internal consistency, let me know. I can include this in the Premium tier or as a custom extra.
Is my manuscript confidential?
Absolutely. I treat all client work with strict confidentiality. Nothing you send me will ever be shared or reused.
What formats do you accept?
I work with .docx (Word) files or Google Docs. Please make sure your file is editable before sending.
Can I request a sample edit?
Yes. Feel free to send a sample excerpt or page to see my editing style, before committing to an order.
Do you offer publishing or formatting help?
Unfortunately, no. Formatting for publishing can be finicky depending on personal taste and publishing standards, so I stay with editing the content itself.
