1. What information do you need to create the Revit family?
A manufacturer datasheet, submittal, PDF, CAD drawing, dimensional drawing or clear reference images are usually enough. The more technical information available, the more accurately I can reproduce the product.
2. Can you create a Revit family from only a datasheet or PDF?
Yes. In most cases I can create the family directly from datasheets, submittals, technical drawings and product images.
3. Will the family include MEP connectors?
Yes, when applicable. Electrical, mechanical, pipe or duct connectors can be included depending on the equipment and selected package.
4. Can you create multiple sizes or product models in one family?
Yes. Multiple sizes and product variations can often be created as Family Types. Please contact me before ordering so I can evaluate the number and complexity of the variations.
5. Which Revit version will I receive?
Please tell me your required Autodesk Revit version before I start. I can prepare the family according to the version required for your project.
6. Can you create very complex equipment?
Yes. Complex equipment can include nested components, advanced parameters, multiple types and detailed geometry. Please send me the documentation first so I can confirm the appropriate package.
