About this gig
Professional Cello Lessons | Elite Artistry
I am a world-class cellist who has performed on the most prestigious international stages alongside legendary, top-tier artists. My professional pedigree includes projects with the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra and elite training at the Perlman Music Program under the direction of Maestro Itzhak Perlman. With 5+ years of experience serving as an assistant teacher, I translate elite performance standards into a personalized learning experience. I specialize in breaking down complex technical challenges into manageable, artistic solutions for students of all levels - from beginners building their foundation to advanced cellists.
What we focus on:
- Technical precision (Intonation, Bow control)
- Artistic phrasing & tone production
- Repertoire from Bach to major Concertos
- Audition & stage preparation
All levels welcome! Personalized lessons via Zoom/Google Meet in English/Hebrew.
HOW TO START: Message me before booking. For new students, I recommend the Technical Consultation (Basic Package) to analyze your technique and build our roadmap.

FAQ
Do I need to be at a certain level to take lessons with you?
Not at all! I teach all levels, from absolute beginners who are just starting their journey to advanced cellists preparing for professional auditions and concerts. Each lesson is tailored to your specific technical and musical needs.
What equipment do I need for our online lessons?
You will need your cello, a stable internet connection, and a device with a camera (a laptop or tablet is best). I recommend using external speakers or headphones for better audio quality and a quiet space where you can play comfortably.
How do we coordinate the time for our lesson?
Once you message me, we will discuss our time zones and find a slot that works best for both of us. I am very flexible and accustomed to working with students from all over the world.
Can you help me prepare for a specific audition or exam?
Yes, absolutely. I have extensive experience in high-level audition preparation and performance strategy. We can work on technical precision, stage presence, and the musical interpretation needed to stand out.
What is your cancellation or rescheduling policy?
I deeply value our time together. To ensure the best experience for everyone, I require at least 24 hours' notice for any cancellations or rescheduling. This allows me to adjust my schedule and offer the slot to another student. Thank you for your understanding!
Do I need to provide the sheet music, or will you provide it?
I have an extensive library of standard cello repertoire and exercises. However, if you are working on a specific contemporary piece or a unique edition, please send a PDF in advance so I can review it before we meet.
Do you allow lessons to be recorded?
To ensure a focused environment and protect the privacy of our sessions, I do not allow full video recordings. Instead, I provide a summary of the key technical goals and pointers we discussed to guide your independent practice until our next session.
Do you teach genres other than classical music?
While my core training is classical, I have extensive experience helping students with various genres, including Pop, Folk, and Contemporary music. We can apply professional cello techniques to any style you’re passionate about, with a focus on sound production and musicality.
How should I set up my camera for our lesson?
For the best experience, please position your camera so I can clearly see both your left hand and your bowing arm. A side-view or a slightly diagonal angle works best. Seeing your posture and the full length of the bow is key to providing accurate technical feedback.
Do you offer long-term lesson plans or recurring sessions?
Definitely! While you can book individual sessions, I find that consistent weekly or bi-weekly lessons yield the best results. We can use the first session to establish your goals and then set a recurring schedule that fits your routine.
