What information do I need to send before ordering?
Send a sketch, drawing, photo or existing CAD file, plus key dimensions, material and how it will be made (CNC, 3D printing, sheet metal). No exact specs yet? Message me and I'll guide you.
Which CAD file formats will I receive?
Native SolidWorks (SLDPRT, SLDASM) plus STEP, IGES, STL, DWG, DXF and PDF drawings. Need another format for your software or manufacturer? Just tell me and I'll deliver it.
Can you model from a physical part or photos?
Yes. I do reverse engineering from photos, hand sketches, scans or measurements. For best accuracy, send clear photos from several angles with a ruler or caliper measurements of key features.
Are your models ready for CNC machining or 3D printing?
Yes. I design with manufacturing in mind, checking tolerances, wall thickness, fits and clearances. I also provide STL files for printing and dimensioned drawings for machine shops.
Do you offer revisions and how many are included?
Yes. Each package includes a set number of revisions to match your feedback. Need more? Add the extra revisions option or message me for a custom offer.
Is my design kept confidential?
Absolutely. Your ideas and files stay private and are never shared or reused. I'm happy to sign an NDA before you send any files, just ask.
