About this Gig
You've finished your manuscript. Now you need to know what a real reader will actually experience when they read it.
I provide thoughtful beta reading and manuscript reviews for authors who want honest, useful feedback before publishing.
I'll read your manuscript from a reader's perspective and help you understand what is working, what may be confusing, and where the reading experience could be stronger.
Depending on your package, I can provide feedback on:
- Plot and story flow
- Pacing and engagement
- Character development
- Narrative flow and readability
- Reader engagement
- Confusing or inconsistent sections
You won't just receive vague comments like "I liked it" or "this part was boring." My goal is to give you clear observations you can actually use when revising your manuscript.
I can beta read fiction and nonfiction manuscripts and provide feedback tailored to your book and goals.
Whether you're preparing for self-publishing, querying agents, or simply want another perspective before sharing your book with readers, Im ready to take a careful look at your manuscript.
Send your manuscript and let's uncover what your readers may notice before publication.

FAQ
Q: What is beta reading?
A: Beta reading is reviewing a manuscript from a reader's perspective and providing honest feedback on the story, characters, pacing, clarity, and overall reading experience.
Q: What types of manuscripts do you beta read?
A: I can review fiction and nonfiction manuscripts. Please message me before ordering if you're unsure whether your book fits my service.
: What will your beta reader feedback cover?
A: Feedback can cover plot, pacing, character development, narrative flow, reader engagement, confusing sections, inconsistencies, strengths, and areas that could be improved.

A: No. Beta reading focuses primarily on the reader's experience and your manuscript's strengths and weaknesses rather than correcting every grammar or spelling error.

A: Yes. I'll provide constructive and respectful feedback, including what works well and areas that may need further development.
Can you review an unfinished manuscript?
A: Yes, as long as the manuscript is developed enough for meaningful reader feedback. Message me first if you're unsure.
Q: Will I receive chapter-by-chapter feedback?
A: Chapter-by-chapter feedback is included in the Standard and Premium packages. Please check the package details before ordering.
Q: Can you beta read a long manuscript?
A: Yes. Packages cover different manuscript lengths. For manuscripts beyond the listed word counts, please contact me for a custom offer.
