Gage is a New York–born, LA-based bassist, artist, and composer. After studying at both the University of North Texas and Belmont University in Nashville, Gage went on to work in LA as a full-time performing and studio musician.
Specializing in both upright bass as well as 4, 5, and 6 string electric bass, Gage uses his background in jazz, classical, funk, rock, R&B, and soul to add professional-level bass to your project.
Gage’s playing draws inspiration from legendary musicians including Chuck Rainey, Pino Palladino, Rocco Palladino, and Anthony Jackson, Oscar Peterson and Quincy Jones.

What bass will you use?
I play a 57 reissue Mexican P-Bass as my main instrument. For 5 string I play a Sire P7, a PJ style active bass. For 6 string I play an Ibanez SRSC806, and my fretless is a Custom Squier J-Bass.
