About this gig
hello stranger! i'm down to draw up any character you ask me to in the following:
- a retro sprite reminiscent of Megaman's from the NES games (using matching colors to emulate the retro aspect), alongside a separate chibi illustration of their head
- a set of mood portraits for your character, with some defaults (a neutral, happy, sad and upset) included alongside your own custom requests (anything you can ask for really!)
- or a full body draw-up, alongside all the blockouts used throughout the process and the complete palette by the time it's done
i would like you to keep a few things in mind however!
- i am still a novice artist, so the simpler the details on design, the better! especially for the pixel art dimensions i'm working with
- revisions are included due to how finnicky pixel art can be with these proportions, so have no fear!
- i'll require some clear pointers and communication to make sure we're both happy with your order, so make sure to check your order often!

hey there, my name's gary. i'm a man of many hobbies, including language learning, creative writing and pixel art. seeing as i have some free time parallel to my studies, i figured i might as well put some of these hobbies to use by offering my services to any that might want them!

Is AI used in any capacity?
not in the slightest. i take pride in what i do and avoid using it for scrumming up concepts (or concept art), lineart or anything else of the sort. if there's any doubts at all, i'll gladly share the step by step process to put your worries at ease! o7
How can I know about my order's progress?
if requested, i can keep you up to date on approximately where the progress is at every part of the process, from blockouts to grayscaling and the final coloring, until it's fully finalised and in your hands. especially here, the more communication, the easier my job becomes too ^^
Is it possible to change my order's details?
i'll be a bit more restrictive with this gig and say 'only slightly'. if it's a minor character element like colors, that's much easier to do than redraw a part of them or their outfits, so please make sure to have a good idea of your desired clothes/pose ahead of time!
Are there any designs you don't do good with?
as mentioned before, i'll especially appreciate simple clothes! due to the proportions i work with, details are hard to add without making the final product muddy, so keep that in mind when specifying your order. regardless however, i'll be giving it my best shot ^^
