Do you provide a MOBI file?
MOBI files are no longer required or accepted by Amazon. I provide a clean, industry-standard EPUB file, which works for Kindle and all major eBook platforms.
Can you proofread or edit my book?
No, this service is for formatting only. Please make sure your manuscript is final and proofread before sending it over.
Can you format an index page with page numbers?
Vellum doesn’t support automatic page numbers in an index. If you need an index, it’s best to add it manually after formatting, once you’ve reviewed the final file.
Do you format books with lots of images, charts, or complex layout?
This service is for text-based books (fiction, non-fiction, memoirs, etc.). If your book includes lots of visual content or a custom layout, please message me first to check if it’s a good fit for Vellum.
What do I need to send you?
Just your final manuscript in .docx format and any clear notes or chapter breaks. I’ll take care of the rest.
