I will translate Latin texts, especially historical documents.

My specialisation is church records, the primary sources in genealogy/family research - I offer you a professional translation, e.g. if you're looking for your ancestors. For help in family research, please see my other gig.

For texts which are difficul to read, I also offer you a transcription first.

!!! I kindly ask you to contact me first before booking a time-based package - It is hard to estimate, how long it will take to translate a document, as it depends on number of words, quality of handwriting, photo/scan, historical context etc.

About me: I have about 10 years expertise as Latin teacher on German High Schools. I studied Latin, Political sciences and German as a Foreign language. I studied English in high school and lived in Canada for half a year.
