Both. I regularly work from outlines or briefs and give feedback on structure, pacing, and sequencing — not just cutting to a locked script
What do you need before we get started?
Your raw footage (or proxies), any existing outline/brief, and reference films or examples of tone/style you like. If you don't have a formal brief, I can help shape one together before editing begins.
My Project Files are HUGE! - 1TB+ - Can you accomodate?
Yes — message me before ordering so I can scope it properly. Larger projects are usually broken into milestones (footage review/organization, rough cut, final cut) rather than a single fixed package.
Do you offer additional prices for bigger projects?
Yes. The packages here suit shorter or clearly-scoped projects. For feature-length or multi-interview documentaries, I'll quote based on footage volume and complexity. As a general rule ALWAYS scope the project with me first.
Can you work with interview footage that hasn't been transcribed?
Yes, though a transcript speeds up the process significantly and is recommended for projects with multiple interviews.
