What do you need from me to start mastering?
Please provide your final mix in WAV or AIFF format (24-bit or 32-bit). Crucially, please make sure there is no Limiter or heavy compression on your Master Bus. I need at least -3dB to -6dB of headroom to ensure I have enough "sonic space" to apply professional mastering techniques.
Can you make my song sound as loud as a top Spotify hit?
Yes! I will ensure your track reaches a competitive commercial volume (LUFS) while preserving the dynamics and punch. Your master will be optimized to sound great on Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube, and club sound systems.
Do you use AI or automated mastering tools?
No. Unlike automated websites, I provide a human-eared approach. I analyze the frequency spectrum, phase, and dynamics of your specific song and use professional plugins (Ozone, FabFilter, etc.) to make custom decisions based on your genre and vision.
. What if I am not happy with the mix I sent you?
Mastering is the "final polish," but it cannot fix a bad mix. If I receive your file and notice major issues (like the vocals being too quiet or the bass being too muddy), I will let you know before I start. I want you to have the best possible result!
Do you provide different versions (Radio Edit, Instrumental)?
The Premium Package includes mastering for both the main track and an additional version (like an Instrumental or Radio Edit). If you are on the Basic or Standard plan, you can add this as a "Gig Extra."
Can I send you a reference track?
Absolutely! In fact, I highly recommend it. Please send me a link to a song that has the tonal balance or loudness you admire. It gives me a clear target for the "vibe" you want to achieve.
