What is included in the Xero migration and implementation service?
The service may include Xero organization setup, Chart of Accounts setup or review, opening balances, customers and suppliers, outstanding invoices and bills, bank accounts, relevant accounting data, and configuration of applicable Xero settings.
What accounting systems can you migrate from?
Migration may be possible from spreadsheets, manual records, or other accounting software, depending on the format and quality of the available data.
How much historical data can be migrated?
This service does not include migration of full historical accounting records. We migrate the opening balances, together with any outstanding sales invoices, outstanding purchase bills, and relevant outstanding bank transactions as at the migration date.
Will all of my existing data be transferred to Xero?
No. We do not transfer your complete historical transaction history. The migration is limited to the opening balances, outstanding sales invoices, outstanding purchase bills, and relevant outstanding bank transactions required to establish the opening position in Xero.
Do you clean up my existing records before migration?
Minor adjustments required for migration may be included where appropriate. Significant cleanup, correction, or reconstruction of accounting records may require additional work.
Will you set up my Chart of Accounts?
Yes. The Chart of Accounts can be set up, reviewed, or adjusted as part of the implementation based on your business requirements.
Do I need an active Xero subscription?
Yes. You will need an appropriate Xero subscription for your organization. The required plan may depend on the features you intend to use.
What happens if some of my data cannot be migrated?
If certain information cannot be transferred directly into Xero, We will let you know and, where possible, explain the available alternative approach.
Will you make changes to restricted or developer-level Xero settings?
Some Xero settings are system-controlled and cannot be changed by users or advisors. If your request involves these settings, we will be unable to alter them.
