I will reconcile your inventory spreadsheets and identify stock discrepancies
About this Gig
Are your inventory numbers different between Excel, CSV, Shopify, warehouse, 3PL, or physical-count reports?
I will compare your inventory files and deliver a clear reconciliation report showing exactly what needs review.
Your report can identify:
Quantity variances and stock discrepancies
Missing expected SKUs or items
Unexpected or additional items
Duplicate identifiers
Unmatched or invalid records
Location or variant mismatches when included in your data
I work from the files you provide and perform a read-only comparison. I will not modify your inventory system or make inventory adjustments.
Typical files include:
Excel (.xlsx), CSV inventory exports, warehouse reports, physical counts, Shopify exports, and 3PL inventory reports.
What you receive:
A review-ready Excel reconciliation workbook with the discrepancies separated into clear categories so you know what requires investigation.
Before ordering, please message me if your files contain complex bundles, multiple units of measure, unusual SKU mappings, or more than three inventory sources so I can confirm the appropriate package.
Your ambiguous records will be flagged for review rather than guessed.
FAQ
What files do you accept?
I accept Excel (.xlsx) and CSV files, including exports from inventory, warehouse, Shopify, 3PL, and physical-count systems. Files should include a matching identifier such as SKU, barcode, item number, variant, or another consistent product ID.
Do you need access to my Shopify, warehouse, or inventory system?
No. This is a read-only reconciliation service. You provide exported Excel or CSV files. I do not need passwords or direct access to your systems, and I will not make inventory adjustments or change your source data.
How much data is included in each package?
Basic includes up to 500 spreadsheet rows across 2 files. Standard includes up to 5,000 rows across 2 files. Premium includes up to 10,000 rows across up to 3 files. Please contact me before ordering for larger datasets.
What discrepancies can you identify?
Depending on your files, I can identify quantity variances, missing expected items, unexpected items, duplicate identifiers, invalid or unmatched records, and location or variant mismatches. Ambiguous matches are flagged for review rather than guessed.
Can you determine why my inventory numbers are different?
I identify and organize discrepancies supported by the files you provide. I can flag patterns and data-quality issues, but I will not invent a cause when the data does not establish one. Deeper root-cause investigation can be discussed separately.
