About this gig
Hi!
My name is Gideon Clark and I was NOT a natural singer. I actually was pretty bad at singing when I took my first voice lesson at age 18. I couldnt sing above middle C without straining or pushing.
Overcoming my own vocal struggles, learning from my mistakes, being curious about the voice and teaching hundrets of students over more than 10 years has equipped me with a lot of tools and techniques that I am more than happy to share with you!
If you would like to overcome your physical and mental vocal barriers, I'd be more than happy to help you on this journey to grow your voice and as well as your vocal confidence.

I have been helping people to develop their voice and get past their physical and mental singing barrieres for more than 10 years.
When I started out on my singing journey, my voice was very limited. For years I thought I was a bass singer, which was far from the truth. I started to get really interested (you could call it obsessed) about vocal technique and learned everything I could find about the singing voice.
I studied vocal pedagogy (jazz and popular music) at Vienna Music Institute. I sang in choirs, had an acapella group and recorded a CD with my progressive rock band.

Can anyone learn how to sing?
If you have a voice you can learn to sing. I have trained people who thought they were tone-deaf and who couldn't sing the easiest children songs starting out or match pitches innitially. If you want to learn to sing and you're ready to do what it takes, you can learn it. That's my experience. :)
How is a vocal coaching session structured?
Since my teaching is HIGHLY individual there is not a short answer to this question. Generally speaking, there will be vocal technique and applying technique to the songs you love, no matter what genre. I will provide exercises fitting your specific needs aiming to achieve your singing goals.
What if I have to cancel or reshedule a session?
There is a 24h cancellation window. If you cancel or reshedule our session more than 24h before the beginning that's fine. I know, sometimes stuff happens that we can't control. Please understand that if you cancel later that 24h before the session, that it will be considered as taken place.
