I will build a tested node js endpoint for your json data

About this gig
Turn one clear data rule into a working Node.js API.
I will build one local JSON endpoint that validates your input, applies your documented mapping or calculation, and returns the agreed result. SQLite storage prevents the same event from creating duplicate records; conflicting repeats return a clear error.
Included:
- One operation and one output format
- Up to 20 scalar input fields and 10 explicit rules
- Source code, automated tests and a runnable request example
- Setup instructions and a test results record
- One revision within the agreed scope
Examples: normalize form data, calculate a defined score, or transform a JSON record.
Engineer and PhD with six years of engineering experience. My RuleBench demo uses synthetic data and documents 24 passing tests. Industrial projects are confidential.
Development, testing and documentation use AI-assisted tools. We agree on permitted data and tools before processing your project material.
Local service only: no external API connections, hosting, authentication, payments or UI. Message me on Fiverr before ordering so we can confirm scope, examples and environment.

FAQ
What exactly is included?
One POST endpoint in a small local Node.js service: up to 20 scalar input fields, one deterministic mapping or calculation with up to 10 explicit rules, one JSON output format, local SQLite storage, duplicate and conflict handling, source code, tests, a request example and setup documentation.
What does the duplicate protection cover?
A stable event key and the same normalized input reuse the stored result. Reusing the key with different input returns an error. This covers one local service and its SQLite records. It does not guarantee exactly-once processing across external services or prevent external side effects.
Will you connect my app to an external API or deploy it?
This package delivers a runnable local endpoint. Third-party API connections, webhook signatures, credentials, public deployment, hosting, queues, callbacks and production security require a separately agreed scope. No paid subscription or paid API is required for the local package.
What do you need before starting?
One operation, input/output definitions, up to 10 explicit rules, at least five synthetic examples including boundary and invalid cases, a stable event key, your Node.js environment, and AI/data restrictions. Message me before ordering if any requirement is unclear.
How do we confirm the result is correct?
We agree on the expected outputs before implementation. Delivery includes automated tests for these examples, invalid inputs and duplicate/conflict behavior, plus a runnable request example and the recorded results. If the written rules and examples disagree, we resolve that before coding.
What does one revision include?
One consolidated round of changes within the agreed input, rules, output and environment. New endpoints, new rules, external services or a different workflow require a separate scope. A failed agreed acceptance test is a defect to correct, not a new feature.
Do you use AI tools?
Yes. I use AI for implementation, tests and documentation, then verify against agreed examples. Share tool and data restrictions before ordering. Use synthetic data; do not send secrets or confidential material before we agree on handling. This package is not suitable for a no-AI requirement.
Can I see a relevant example?
RuleBench is an original local demo with synthetic data: deterministic calculations, JSON validation, SQLite storage and replay/conflict handling. Its recorded environment passed 24 tests. It is a personal demo, not a client delivery. Industrial code and data remain confidential.
