FAQ
1. What types of construction documents can the system work with?
The solution can be configured for contracts, BOQs, specifications, addenda, clarifications, and selected supporting files. The SRS supports PDF, DOCX, XLSX, TXT, PNG, and JPG formats within configured limits.
2. Will the AI provide source references for its answers?
Yes. Grounded answers are designed to include validated source references tied to the exact document revision and source location. References can include the document title, revision, page or section, excerpt, and an internal deep link.
3. Can the system handle scanned PDFs and images?
Yes. The document-processing workflow can use OCR where configured and preserve page or section anchors so users can inspect the extracted content and its source location. Construct_Intelligence_Document…
4. Can the assistant manage different document revisions?
Yes. The system maintains document revision lineage and can keep one revision active for normal search, chat, and analysis. Superseded revisions are excluded from normal retrieval unless an authorized historical view is used. Construct_Intelligence_Document…
5. Does the system support user roles and secure document access?
Yes. The SRS defines project administrator, reviewer analyst, project viewer, and platform operator roles. Access to APIs, files, documents, and project data is enforced on the server side. Construct_Intelligence_Document…
