About this Gig
I am sure you have done an extraordinary work with your text, but could you use a fresh look and feedback on it?
Friends and family are not always the most honest beta readers, as they don't want to hurt your feelings, but I will be brutally honest in a constructive way!
I will beta read your text and provide:
- honest critique
- general feedback
- non native English speaker opinion (so that you know if everyone can follow the meaning of it)
- main focus of improvement
I will structure my feedback on the following questions:
- does it have a good opening?
- is it easy to read?
- are the dialogues fluent and natural?
- are the descriptions too long/short?
- are there any plot holes?
- how is the ending?
- what does it leave me with?
- overall impression?
And of course I will end my feedback with the most important questions:
- would I pay for it?
- would I recommend this text to friends and family?
and in case of a short story/book/chapter:
- would I read more from the author?
