I will redesign your outdated website into a fast, modern next js site
Gio Julius
About this gig
Is your website older than your phone? I rebuild outdated business sites so they load fast, work on every phone and make it obvious how to contact you.
I'm Gio, a web designer in Cape Town. I don't install a theme and walk away. I rebuild your site in clean code (Next.js or Astro) and host it on Vercel or Cloudflare, which is usually free for a small business site.
What you get:
- A new design built around what customers do on your site: call, WhatsApp, book or buy
- A mobile-first layout, tested on real phone sizes
- Your domain and email stay where they are
- Old page addresses redirected to the new ones, so you keep your Google ranking
- Page titles, descriptions and a sitemap set up for Google
Good fit: WordPress, Wix, Squarespace or GoDaddy sites that look dated or load slowly.
Not a fit: small tweaks to a WordPress theme. A WordPress specialist is cheaper for that.
Send me your current website address before you order and I'll tell you what I'd change first.

Hi, I'm Gio, a web designer in Cape Town, South Africa, and founder of the studio Glo Mgmt. I design and build custom websites and online shops for small businesses: clean, fast, built for phones and set up so Google can find you. No templates dropped in and forgotten; each site is designed around your business and what you want visitors to do. Recent work includes an online football-shirt shop, a site for an aluminium and glass company, a transport company site and a local business directory. Message me with your idea and I'll reply with a clear plan and price.

FAQ
Will I lose my Google ranking?
Not if the move is done properly. I redirect every old page address to its new one with a permanent (301) redirect and resubmit your sitemap to Google.
Can I edit the site myself afterwards?
Yes for simple text, if you ask for an editor before I start. Most clients prefer to message me their changes.
Do you work on WordPress?
I move sites off WordPress onto a faster custom build. I don't edit WordPress themes or plugins.
What do you need from me?
Your current site address, your logo, any new photos, and two websites you like. I can write the headings if you're short on time.
