FAQ
What do I need to get started?
Send me a scan or picture of your penciled artwork, as long as the artwork is clear I should be able to work from it!
Do I get to keep physical original inked artwork?
High-resolution digital scans (600 DPI) are included with every traditional order. If you want the physical inked board shipped to your address, simply select the Physical Artwork Shipping add-on at checkout!
Should I order Traditional Inking or Digital Inking?
It depends on your end goal, Digital Inking (Clip Studio Paint / Photoshop) offers perfectly clean, lines, quick adjustments, speed, and seamless digital coloring workflows. Traditional Inking (physical brush/pen on board) provides authentic ink-on-paper texture, natural line weight.
What quality/resolution should my pencil submission be?
For best results, please provide high-resolution scans or digital pencil files at 300 DPI to 600 DPI (PSD, TIFF, PNG, or high-quality JPEG). Lines should be clear enough to distinguish details, focal points, and background elements.
Can you ink directly over my rough layouts or blue-line pencils?
Absolutely. I can work directly over non-photo blue lines, tight lead pencils, or digital roughs. If your pencils are exceptionally loose, send me a message first so we can ensure the detail level matches your expectations.
