How does it work?
Before we start, have your website content ready (text and images) + fill my questionnaire (I'll send it to you). Once you place your order, I jump in and build your website, share work-in-progress along the way and ask you for feedback. We make design edits until you love it :) Live in 1-4 weeks!
What do I need to provide?
Just these 3 things: 1) Your text content aka the website copy (I'll send you a guide to help you in the writing process) 2) Your photos 3) Answers to my questionnaire so I get to know your brand & vision :)
What platform do you use to create websites?
The platform we'll be using to create your website and you'll absolutely adore is Squarespace (version 7.1). It's very intuitive and you'll be able to easily update your content whenever you want, no tech skills needed!
How long will it take to design my website?
It depends on different factors such as the scope and complexity of the project, the number of revisions aka the rounds of edits we make, how fast you provide feedback etc. For a 5-page website it usually takes 3-4 weeks to complete.
Will you write my website copy/text content?
Since you know your business best, I leave the writing to you :) I'll send you a guide to help you along the way. Of course, you're welcome to work with a copywriter if you prefer.
Will you provide photos for my website?
You're responsible for providing all imagery before we officially kick off the project. Using your own quality photos is best. Work with a professional photographer if possible. However, if a photoshoot isn't an option right now, stock photos are a good alternative.
Do I need to have my logo/colors/branding figured out before I have a website?
Nope. You don't need to have a logo or any other brand assets for me to start working on your website.
Will you purchase a domain and hosting plan for me?
No. To publish your website, you’ll need to purchase a Squarespace subscription and a domain name, but those payments are made to Squarespace directly. This can be done after we design your website. Don't worry, I'll show you how.
Do you provide SEO?
I'd love to help you with SEO and make your site more discoverable on Google and to potential clients. While SEO is not included in my website design packages, it is available as a separate service. For more info, check out my SEO gig.
Do you provide support after we finish the project?
Yes! I provide one week of support after your project is completed to assist with small adjustments to the website design. This includes minor changes and refinements.
