About this gig
I will make a music video in the style of what you see in the gallery.
The visuals you see are mathematical based equations which generate 3D fractals, based on the mandelbrot formula but in 3D, known as mandelbulbs.
Due to very long render times, there are no revisions once the video is in rendering, so we will have to work closely to ensure you like what you see in the preview.
After you send me your mp3/wav, I will listen to it a few times and get a feel for what I want to make. I will send you a few stills of formula sets and you can choose which one you like best. I'll then play around in that formula to get the video done. I will send you the preview, which can be revised a few times.
I will then compile the animation into video and send you the finished result.
The project can take up to 14 days to finalise. The main variables are the render time, creative production and other jobs I have going at the same time. I aim for the render time to take about 3 days, and with creative process and post processing it can be done in around 5 days if it all goes well, but I need precaution in case there are any variables which take longer.

FAQ
How long are render times?
Anywhere from 30 seconds to 3 minutes, with around 6000 frames total.
Why so few revisions?
Because the render time is so long, I can't afford to revise it 5 times and have my computer doing slightly different variations of the same base thing. If you are happy with the preview I show you, then that's perfect, and it'll be captured in the full render.
