About this Gig
My purpose is to coach you into becoming a better writer after week one, no matter where you are on your author's journey.
We start with a discovery call, where I look forward to hearing about your manuscript in depth, your past as a writer, and your publishing goals. During the call, I'll also be able to pinpoint the market you're writing for, which characters deserve the most attention, and what the book's genre categories are.
Once that's outlined, chapters are submitted on a weekly basis, up to but not exceeding 25 pages (12 pt. double spaced TNR font).
Weekly submissions are dropped into a shared document, where my line edits and comments are entered for your review. I couple that with a written critique (delivered as a PDF) 24 hours before our call, so you can review notes ahead of time.
Then, over live video chat (60-90 min.) we'll workshop your submission.
Receiving live feedback is the key. We'll have ample time to brainstorm, giving you the power to delve into the story and improve your craft with me in real time.

Q: Where do we share documents and host calls?
A: I use shared Google Docs, perfect for chapter feedback, and host all live coaching sessions via Google Meet.

A: Meeting times can be coordinated through Fiverr messaging or email. Whatever works best for you!
What if my manuscript needs a ton of work?
Everyone who sets out to write a manuscript has the talent and power to complete it. All you need to learn is the craft of narrative fiction. Every author workshops their writing. It's part and parcel of the profession.
What level of experience do you expect your writers to have?
I work with novices, amateurs, pros, and experts. The only expectation I have is that my writers keep to their deadlines, have fun, and never lose their sense of humor.
