About this Gig

Want your own photo backup, media server, or file storage without paying for cloud subscriptions? I'll set it up for you.

I run my own home lab with a Synology NAS and a self-hosted Immich photo server. I'm also the sysadmin for an aviation business in Michigan and CompTIA Tech+ certified.

What I can set up:

Immich (a Google Photos alternative), Plex, or Jellyfin
Docker and Docker Compose on Linux, a NAS, or an old PC
Synology and other NAS setup, shared folders, and users
Secure remote access with Tailscale, no port forwarding needed
Automatic backups and UPS auto-shutdown

How it works:

Message me first with your hardware and what you want. I'll confirm it will work before you order.
We connect remotely and I set everything up while you watch.
You get a short write-up of what's running and how to use it.
