Mother-tongue British voice artist with a natural RP (Received Pronunciation) / neutral English accent.
Fiction: An experienced actor, I will provide a skilled, professional & engaging read of your script. A very flexible voice capable of most accents - recent examples include US (Southern, NY, generic), Afrikaans, Italian, Arabic, East European, UK (Cockney, Northern, Scottish etc.) & many others. I also have credible female voices.
Non-Fiction: Very clear, articulate & engaging reader, capable of making even the driest scripts a lot more interesting!
Children's: As a father of 3 young children I have a huge arsenal of animal/alien/abstract voices and the perfect voice for children's books!

FAQ
You are not the cheapest narrator on Fiverr... why?
Freelance sites are full of cheap narrators - anybody can call themselves a narrator, after all. Unfortunately many clients discover "'you get what you pay for" and I have often been asked to re-do work provided by cheaper narrators. If you want a professional, we come at professional rates!
But your fees seem high?
Fiverr's business model means 20% of my fee goes to Fiverr. My fees therefore have to take this into account. If you approach me through Fiverr, my usual fees have 20% added on to reflect this.
Are you an ACX audio book producer?
Yes, I have produced several audiobooks on ACX now for sale on Amazon/Audible. I have a profile on ACX under my name 'Angus Scott' where you can hear some of my work.
Will my book be accepted by ACX?
Assuming the content meets all other legal requirements: Yes. Your script will be recorded on professional equipment in an acoustically treated vocal booth so the quality of the recording will be extremely high. It will also be edited/mastered on the latest audio software and engineering tools.
Can you do accents for dialogue?
Yes, most accents to a credible level. Includes various US dialects (Southern, NY, generic), most UK regional accents, European, Russian etc. If I can't do it, I'll tell you!
Can you do both male and female voices?
Yes. I have a credible female voice that has recorded dialogue from 18yr old girls to 80yr old Italian ladies!
Can you do an audition of my script?
Yes. Please message me and send through a typical sample with any appropriate direction (eg what tone you're looking for) and any info on what accents/age/voice of any characters who speak dialogue in the excerpt and I will provide a recorded audition.
Are you happy recording any genre and content?
As long as it's legal, I am comfortable reading any script. Please contact me if you wish to check. I am extremely open-minded and comfortable reading any script, from Sci-Fi to religious texts, from Romance to explicit erotica.
How quickly can you provide my book
Much depends upon the content. I tend to deliver an average-length, 80,000 word in around 8 weeks.
