FAQ
Do you create 100% custom, hand-drawn fantasy book covers?
Yes! Every book cover I design is fully custom and hand-drawn—no stock images or AI-generated art. I specialize in detailed fantasy illustrations, bringing your world to life with unique characters, magical objects, and immersive landscapes.
What genres do you design book covers for?
I specialize in fantasy book covers, including epic fantasy, dark fantasy, fairy tale retellings, magical realism, historical fantasy, and dark academia.
Do you include typography with the book cover design?
Yes! I provide professionally designed typography to match the theme and aesthetic of your book. Whether you want a bold, cinematic title for an epic fantasy or an elegant, whimsical font for a fairy tale, I’ll ensure your text is eye-catching and perfectly balanced with the artwork.
What book formats do you provide?
I design covers for Kindle eBooks (KDP), paperback, hardback, and audiobook formats. If you have specific trim sizes or a spine width for print books, just let me know, and I'll format the cover accordingly.
Can you design a cover that matches an existing book series?
Absolutely! If you have a pre-existing book series or branding style, I can create a cover that seamlessly fits your collection while maintaining a unique, hand-drawn touch. Just provide references, and I’ll make sure your book stands out while staying consistent.
How does the design process work?
Once you've placed an order you can provide me with any information you have and we can go from there, OR I can send you a questionnaire. I then create a rough version of your book cover and then ask for your approval. I'll then keep working on your book cover alongside your visions until finished!
Why should I choose you over other book cover designers?
I’m a native English speaker from the UK, which means clear communication and an in-depth understanding of fantasy storytelling, world-building, and publishing trends.

Holly had already created the front cover for my book, and based on the quality of that, I requested a continuation on to the back. The price was very reasonable and the turnaround very quick. Very happy with the work and I wouldn't hesitate to call on Holly again.

Holly did fantastic work, creating cover art for me. We had some great conversations about the tone of the piece, colour pallets and so on. She was able to work to my brief while also pointing out what would and wouldn’t work. She worked quickly and with only a few small notes, she completed the art. I will certainly use her again.
