FAQ
I only have a rough sketch — is that enough to start?
Absolutely. A hand sketch, photo, napkin drawing, or even a clear written description is enough. I work with clients at every stage — from early concept to final production. Message me with whatever you have and I'll let you know exactly what else, if anything, is needed before you place your order.
Which file formats will I receive with my SolidWorks drawing?
Every delivery includes the native SolidWorks files (.SLDPRT, .SLDASM, .SLDDRW), a print-ready PDF, and DWG/DXF formats your manufacturer or machinist can open directly. I
Do your technical drawings follow ISO or ASME standards?
Yes — I work in both. ISO (first-angle projection) is standard in Europe and most of Asia. ASME/ANSI (third-angle projection) is used in North America.
Can you handle assemblies, or just single parts?
Both. I handle single-part SolidWorks drawings, multi-component assemblies, exploded views, and bills of materials. For larger or more complex assemblies, message me before ordering so I can review your requirements and give you an accurate scope and timeline upfront.
What if my manufacturer has questions about the drawing after delivery?
Revisions are included in every package. I don't consider the job done until your manufacturer can work from the drawing without any questions. If something needs adjusting after delivery — a dimension, a view, a tolerance — message me and I'll turn it around quickly.
