Unlike general 3D modeling, my focus is on creating practical designs with functionality, fit, clearances, assembly, strength, and printability in mind.

What information do you need to start?
Please provide your sketches, dimensions, photos, reference files or existing CAD models, together with a description of the part's function. If known, also provide the printing process, material and printer limitations.
Which 3D printing processes can you design for?
I can design functional parts for common additive manufacturing processes such as FDM/FFF, SLA/resin and SLS. Please tell me your intended process and material so the design can be developed accordingly.
Which file formats will I receive?
Depending on your requirements, I can provide STL or 3MF for printing, STEP/IGES for CAD exchange, and editable source CAD files where included in your package.
Can you design from only a sketch, photo or idea?
Yes. Clear sketches, photos and dimensions can be used as references. If significant concept development or engineering is required, please contact me before ordering so I can confirm the appropriate scope.
Can you modify an existing STL or CAD model?
Yes, depending on the file and required modifications. Please send the existing file and describe the changes before ordering if the modification is substantial.
Do you physically 3D print and ship the part?
No. This Gig provides the digital design and 3D-printable files. Physical printing and shipping are not included.
