I will fix bugs in your chrome extension or migrate it to manifest v3

About this gig
Your extension broke, or Chrome stopped running it, and you need someone who can read the code rather than start again from scratch.
I build Chrome extensions, including PixelMatch, which is live on the Chrome Web Store. I wrote the extension, the licensing, the website and 191 automated tests, and took it through Web Store review myself. Debugging someone else's extension is that same work in reverse.
WHAT I FIX
Extensions that stopped working after a Chrome update
Manifest V2 extensions that no longer load at all
Content scripts that break when a site changes its markup
Permission and CSP errors that block the extension
Features you want added to an extension you already own
HOW THIS WORKS
Message me first with the source and what is going wrong. I will tell you what is actually broken, and what it costs, before you order. I will not quote a fix for code I have not read, and nor should anyone else.
If it is a ten minute fix I will say so. If it needs rewriting I will say that too, even though it loses me the order.
Send me the code and what you expected to happen.

FAQ
Can you fix it if I do not have the source code?
Usually no, and be careful of anyone who says yes. A published extension can be unpacked, but editing someone else's compiled build is a different and much larger job. And if it is not your extension, I cannot work on it at all.
My extension stopped working. Is that the Manifest V2 shutdown?
Probably. Chrome has stopped running Manifest V2 extensions, so they do not load at all rather than failing partially. Send me your manifest.json and I will tell you within a few minutes which it is.
How much will my fix cost?
I cannot say until I have read the code, and nor can anyone else honestly. Message me the source and a description of what goes wrong, and I will give you a price and a timeline before you order anything.
Can you get my extension unblocked from the Chrome Web Store?
If it was removed for a technical policy breach, often yes. I have taken an extension through Web Store review myself. If it was removed for what it does rather than how it was built, no amount of code changes that, and I will say so.
