FAQ
Q1. Will schema markup guarantee rich snippets in Google?
No, and any seller who promises this is misleading you. Google decides what rich snippets to display based on multiple factors. My job is to give you valid, error-free schema that QUALIFIES your pages for rich results. The display itself depends on Google's algorithm, your DA, and content quality.
Q2. How long until I see results in search?
Google typically takes 2-4 weeks to crawl and recognize new schema markup. You can verify implementation is correct immediately using Google's Rich Results Test (I provide screenshots), but visible search appearance changes take time.
Q3. What schema types do you implement?
FAQ, Product, Article, BlogPosting, Review, AggregateRating, LocalBusiness, Organization, Breadcrumb, HowTo, Recipe, Event, Course, JobPosting, Service, Person, VideoObject, and more. Tell me your page type and I'll match the right schema.
Q4. Do you implement schema or just provide the code?
Both. Default: I provide validated JSON-LD code for your developer to install. If you want direct implementation, I can do it on WordPress (theme files/code snippets plugin), Shopify (theme.liquid), and Webflow (embed blocks). For other platforms, I provide installation instructions.
Q5. Will plugins like Yoast/RankMath conflict with manual schema?
Often yes. Existing SEO plugins frequently add their own schema, which can conflict with custom schema. I check for conflicts before adding new schema and either disable plugin schema or coordinate the two. I document any conflicts I find.
Q6. What's the difference between JSON-LD and Microdata?
JSON-LD is the format Google recommends — it sits separately in your page's HTML head, doesn't affect existing markup, and is easier to maintain. Microdata embeds inside your HTML and is older/messier. I work exclusively in JSON-LD unless you specifically request Microdata.
Q7. What if my site already has schema with errors?
Common situation. The Premium tier includes fixing existing broken schema. For Starter and Pro tiers, I can add a Gig Extra for error fixes. Send me your URL and I'll tell you what's broken in your existing setup.
Q8. Does schema markup help with AI search (Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT)?
Yes, increasingly so. Google's AI Overviews pull preferentially from schema-rich pages. ChatGPT and Perplexity also use structured data when sourcing answers. The Premium tier includes specific AI search optimization.
Q9. Do you work with WooCommerce/Shopify product pages?
Yes. Product schema (including Offer, AggregateRating, Review subtypes) is standard for e-commerce. I match the schema to your store's product data — name, price, stock, reviews, brand, GTIN/SKU.
Q10. How do we get started?
Message me with your website URL, the specific pages you want schema on, and your goal (rich results display, voice search, AI search visibility). I'll reply with which schema types match each page and a scoped plan.
