I will do Construction Cost Estimation and Material Take Off
About this Gig
I offer professional MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) takeoff and cost estimation services for both residential and commercial projects. Managing complex building systems requires absolute precision, and I provide highly accurate, CSI MasterFormat aligned material lists to ensure your project stays on budget and on schedule.
My MEP Takeoff Services Include:
- Electrical (Div 26): Precise quantities for wiring, conduits, main/sub-panels, switches, outlets, fixtures, and low-voltage systems.
- Mechanical/HVAC (Div 23): Detailed takeoffs for ductwork (linear and square footage), diffusers, grilles, exhaust fans, RTUs, split systems, and insulation.
- Plumbing (Div 22): Exact counts for piping (supply, waste, and vent lines by diameter), fittings, valves, water heaters, and all plumbing fixtures.
- Fire Suppression (Div 21): Sprinkler heads, main lines, and branch piping counts (if required).
All deliverables are organized into a clean, ready to use Excel Spreadsheet for seamless bidding, budgeting, or project planning. You will also receive a color coded digital markup (via PlanSwift/Bluebeam) as proof of accuracy. I

FAQ
Can I order a takeoff for just a single trade (e.g., only Electrical)?
Yes, absolutely! My Basic Tier is designed exactly for that. If you only need an electrical takeoff, a plumbing takeoff, or an HVAC takeoff, you can order the Basic package. Please inbox me first to confirm your specific trade scope.
What is included in your Mechanical/HVAC takeoff?
I perform detailed linear and square-footage takeoffs for all supply, return, and exhaust ductwork. I also count all diffusers, grilles, registers, dampers, insulation requirements, and major equipment like RTUs, exhaust fans, and split systems.
What details do you capture in the Electrical takeoff?
The electrical takeoff covers everything from the main service entrance to the individual devices. This includes exact counts and measurements for fixtures, switches, receptacles, panels, breakers, conduits, and wiring runs, as well as low-voltage/data systems if shown on the prints.
How do you handle Plumbing and Piping takeoffs?
I trace and measure all piping systems—including domestic hot/cold water, sanitary waste, and vent lines broken down by pipe material and diameter. I also count all valves, fittings, cleanouts, water heaters, and plumbing fixtures (sinks, toilets, showers, etc.).
Which software tools do you use for MEP estimation?
I use industry-standard software like PlanSwift and Bluebeam Revu for precise digital on-screen takeoffs. These tools allow me to accurately trace complex piping and duct networks directly from your blueprints.
What files will I receive upon project completion?
You will receive a comprehensive Excel spreadsheet containing the fully broken-down material quantities (aligned with CSI MasterFormat) and a color-coded PDF markup drawing showing exactly how and where every item was measured.
