FAQ
What is a design system and why does my team need one?
A design system is a centralised library of reusable UI components, design tokens, and documentation built in Storybook. It ensures every developer on your team builds with consistent components — eliminating UI drift and saving weeks of rework.
Do you work with both React and Angular?
Yes — I build component libraries and Storybook design systems in both React (with Next.js) and Angular. I'll use whichever framework your team already works in.
Can you convert our existing Figma designs into a Storybook component library?
Absolutely. Figma-to-code is one of my most common requests. I extract design tokens, match your exact styles, and build pixel-perfect components with full Storybook documentation
What deliverables will I receive?
You'll receive a full GitHub repository with your Storybook setup, all components, TypeScript types, documentation, and a handover guide so any developer can start using it immediately
Can you audit or improve my existing Storybook?
Yes — I offer design system audits as a standalone service. I'll review your current structure, identify inconsistencies, missing states, and documentation gaps, then give you a prioritised improvement plan.
