About this Gig
As a published writer with an English BA and clients with their books in Barnes & Noble, I understand both sides of the fiction writing process, which allows me to provide you with a thorough, considerate, and skillful copyedit for your fiction manuscript.
Proofreading and Copyediting services cover:
- Spelling, grammar, and punctuation
- Wordiness
- Tense inaccuracies
- Sentence structure
- Readability
- Consistency
I provide feedback using Word's Track Changes feature and will deliver two files, one with the tracked changes on, and the other with the changes already accepted for ease of readability. Edits follow the CMOS (Chicago Manual of Style).
My copyediting rate is $145/10,000 words. Please message me with your exact word count so I can provide an accurate quote for price and delivery time!
(Please note that, much like rectangles and squares, I can proofread without copyediting, but I cannot copyedit without proofreading. If you're interested in just proofreading (strictly grammar/punctuation/spelling), my rate is $115/10,000 words!)
