About this Gig
I will read your work and give feedback on diversity and representation issues, particularly relating to neurodiversity and autism. I am a queer adult autistic female, also experiencing anxiety, depression, and ADHD. I've studied the subject of neurodiversity widely and can make general comments as well as those specific to my experience. I'll happily read work in genres most sensitivity readers don't serve, including scripts, specialized nonfiction, and anything else you need. (Feel free to contact me for special pricing if your piece isn't best measured in word count.)
My usual rate is $2 per 1,000 words, with a minimum of $25. Message me for custom offers!
Qualifications:
I've worked in libraries for over ten years and read over 300 books a year, so I have a good grasp of genre conventions and what's popular.
I've worked as a sensitivity reader for McGraw Canada textbooks, Chronicle Books, and private clients.
