About this Gig
Have you finished your story and want honest feedback before publishing? I'm here to help!
As your beta reader and alpha reader, I'll read your manuscript and provide thoughtful, constructive feedback to help you improve your story. You don't need to be an experienced author to work with me!
I welcome fiction genres including romance, fantasy, sci-fi, horror, and cozy mystery.
What will I review?
- Plot & pacing: Does your story flow smoothly?
- Character development: Do your characters feel believable?
- Emotional impact: Do your scenes create the intended feelings?
- World-building: Is your fictional world clear and engaging?
- Reader engagement: Are there confusing or slow moments?
- Story flow: Do the events connect naturally?
You'll receive organized beta reading feedback with genuine reader reactions and practical suggestions, not harsh criticism or a complete rewrite.
I'll also point out obvious grammar issues I notice while reading. Detailed proofreading and editing are separate services.
