FAQ
What information do you need before starting the project?
I will need a clear description of your objectives, the KPIs you want to track, and your dataset (Excel, CSV, SQL export, etc.). If you're unsure about KPIs, I can help define them based on your business goals.
My data is messy. Can you clean and structure it before building the dashboard?
Yes. Data cleaning and transformation are part of my services. I use Power Query and structured modeling techniques to clean, standardize, and prepare your data for accurate reporting.
Can you work with large datasets (100k+ rows or more)?
Yes. I specialize in optimizing Excel and Power BI solutions for large datasets using data modeling, Power Query, and performance best practices.
Will the dashboard be automated?
Yes. I build refresh-ready dashboards so you can update your reports easily by simply refreshing the data (depending on your data source).
Do you provide revisions?
Yes. Revisions are included within the agreed scope to ensure the final dashboard meets your expectations.
Can you connect Power BI to SQL, SharePoint, or other sources?
Yes. I can connect Power BI to Excel, CSV, SQL databases, SharePoint, and other structured data sources.
Will you provide documentation or guidance after delivery?
Yes. I provide clear handover instructions so you understand how to refresh, maintain, and use your dashboard effectively.
Can you sign an NDA or handle confidential data?
Yes. I respect client confidentiality and can sign an NDA if required. Your data will be handled securely.
What if I am not sure whether to use Excel or Power BI?
I can assess your requirements and recommend the best solution based on your data size, automation needs, and reporting goals.
Do you provide consultation or training sessions?
Yes. I offer consultation and training sessions to help you understand DAX, Power Query, data modeling, and dashboard best practices.
