I will develop embedded systems firmware drivers rtos and zephyr applications
About this Gig
I write firmware for single board computers or MCUs. Mostly C++, on Zephyr, FreeRTOS,Threadx or bare metal depending on what the board needs.
Most of my work is the unglamorous part. A sensor that won't answer over I2C. A device pulling 3 mA in sleep when the datasheet promised 2 µA. A BLE link that drops every few minutes. If that's roughly your situation, we'll get along.
What I do:
- Firmware from scratch on STM32, Nordic nRF52/53/54/91, ESP32, TI CC13xx
- Zephyr device tree overlays, pinctrl, Kconfig, custom board files
- Drivers over I2C, SPI, UART, ADC, PWM
- BLE GATT services, custom characteristics, pairing, connection tuning
- LTE-M / NB-IoT on nRF9160/9161, MQTT and TLS on device
- Low power sleep modes, wake sources, and measuring the current instead of guessing
- Debugging with RTT, logic analyzer, and a scope when it comes to that
- OTA/DFU, bootloaders, flash partitioning
Tell me the MCU, the sensors, and what the device should do. Send schematics if you have them. I'll come back with what's easy, what's risky, and how long it takes.
If it's outside what I know, I'll say so instead of spending your budget finding out.
Message me before ordering.

FAQ
Do you need my hardware?
Not always. I can develop on a matching dev kit and you test on yours. If it's board-specific, shipping a unit makes it much faster
Which RTOS do you prefer?
Zephyr, when the project allows it. FreeRTOS and bare metal are fine too.
Can you fix someone else's firmware?
Yes. Send the repo first so I can see what I'm walking into.
Do you do hardware/PCB too?
I've designed boards (power metering, sensor nodes) but I'm selling firmware here. But with compelling arrangement I can provide you full solution
NDA?
Yes, happy to sign.
