What exactly is UX writing or microcopy?
It's the words users read inside your product — button labels, error messages, tooltips, onboarding steps, empty states, and form helper text. Good UX copy keeps users moving. Bad copy makes them confused, frustrated, or gone.
What do you need from me to get started?
Your app screens — a Figma file link or screenshots work fine. A quick note on your product type and target users is helpful but not required. I'll ask if I need anything else.
What format will I receive the work in?
: Your choice — a Google Doc with clear before/after copy for each screen, or directly inside your Figma file with annotations. Let me know when you order.
Do you work on fintech or compliance-heavy products?
Yes — that's my strongest area. I currently design at Shufti Pro, a global KYC and identity verification platform. I understand the trust, clarity and compliance demands of regulated product copy better than most.
Is this marketing copy or landing page text?
No. I focus entirely on in-product UX copy — the words users read while using your app. For marketing or ad copy that's a different service.
How is this different from hiring a copywriter?
A copywriter sells. A UX writer guides. I focus on usability — making your product easier to understand and navigate, not on persuasion or brand voice.
