I am an English literature graduate of the University of Cambridge (BA) and Durham University (MA) with wide-ranging experience as a professional copyeditor and proofreader. My editorial experience with academic writing includes editing a professor's published book and proofreading PhD theses, research papers and student dissertations. 

I will proofread your writing for spelling and grammatical errors and, where appropriate, provide minor rephrasing for improved readability.

Please note: this service does not include significant rewriting, editing of subject matter, fact-checking or the proofreading of citations/references.

I work in Microsoft Word, using the Track Changes function. This means that all my revisions will appear as annotations (suggested edits) that you will then be able to accept or reject upon review.

Before I work on your piece of writing, it should be almost ready for submission. This service is not suitable for unfinished writing/early drafts.
