What do you need from me to format my book?
A completed manuscript in an editable format, along with your desired trim size for print projects and any preferences for fonts, chapter headings, scene breaks, or other text styling. Please also provide any completed front or back matter you would like included.
Does formatting include proofreading or editing?
No. Formatting and typesetting do not include proofreading or editing. Your manuscript should be finalized before formatting begins. Proofreading may be added separately when available.
Can you include decorative chapter headings or scene dividers?
Yes, simple text-based styling and supplied ornamental elements can be incorporated into chapter headings and scene breaks. I do not create original artwork or graphic elements.
Do you format books containing images, tables, charts, or complex layouts?
No. This service is specifically for text-based book formatting and typesetting. I do not provide graphic design, illustration, tables, charts, image-heavy layouts, or other complex interior design.
My manuscript doesn't fit one of your packages. Can you still format it?
Possibly! Please contact me before ordering with your word count, project type, and desired output (EPUB, print-ready PDF, or both). Shorter works and manuscripts outside the listed package sizes may qualify for a custom offer.
I found an error in my manuscript. Can you fix it?
Yes. Minor corrections can usually be made during revision. Extensive corrections or manuscript changes may need to be completed by you before formatting continues. We can discuss any effect on delivery time as needed.
