I will start research with any non-living ancestor or individual. Due to privacy regulations in some states and countries, current information on living people is difficult to obtain and not often readily available in the tools that I use.

If you have an Ancestry account, you can collaborate directly with me, and I can add sources straight to your tree. Depending on your access level to Ancestry you may not be able to view the source record images, so I will also include these source images you require with your final report.

No, if necessary, I can and will use other sources to verify or enhance my information. I primarily work in Ancestry, but I'm open to collaborating with other tools if this makes it easier for you to manage your tree. I also have full access to MyHeritage or FindMyPast for collaboration.

I can do this for you, and you will be charged for the cost of the document, any shipping incurred, plus a service fee. Most UK records are unavailable as direct sources online but can be ordered through GRO. US source records will vary state by state. I can accept custom orders for these.

This will vary depending on the country or state where your ancestor is located or was born. Remember that some early records may have been destroyed or inaccessible. I will do my best to find as much as possible in the time, and I'm happy to give you the next steps ofresearch with tricky ancestors.

The answer is yes! If you've ever tried to research using pre-1850 records you know that it can be tricky. If your ancestor has several or all records available in this era I may need to request extra time, at no additional cost, to accommodate the request. Please contact me if you're unsure.

I need the name of one non-living relative you want to know more about. Plus, any additional information that will be helpful to start the search, things like known relatives, spouses, children, or parents. Any geographical information and rough dates of birth or death are also helpful.
