Can you fix my recording? It's very poor quality.
Often yes, but it depends on the original. Send me a short sample or message me first. I'll tell you honestly how much can be improved before you order.
Will you change or edit what is said in my recording?
Never. I only make the speech clearer by reducing noise, echo, and distortion. I don't add, remove, or rearrange anything, and your original file stays untouched.
Is my file kept private?
Yes. Your files are never shared or reused. If you need extra protection, ask and I'll sign an NDA before we start.
Do I get a written report?
The Premium package includes a processing report listing the steps and tools used. You can also add it to any order as an extra. It describes the work I did and does not certify results for court.
What file types do you accept?
WAV, MP3, M4A, AAC, and audio from MP4 or MOV video files. If your file is in another format, message me and I'll check.
Can you remove one voice and keep the other?
Sometimes. If the voices differ in tone or volume, I can often bring one forward and lower the other. It's harder when they overlap. Send a sample and I'll tell you what's realistic.
Can you make a quiet voice louder?
Yes. I can raise the level and bring out the speech. The more noise on the recording, the more careful the process, so I balance loudness against clarity. Send a sample and I'll check.
Can you clean audio from a video, CCTV, or bodycam file?
Yes. Send the video file (MP4 or MOV) and I'll extract the audio, enhance it, and send it back. If you need the video synced with the new audio, tell me before ordering.
Do you work with languages other than English?
Yes. I enhance the sound, not the words, so the language doesn't matter. I speak English, French, German, and Spanish if you need to message me in them.
Will the voice sound robotic or unnatural after cleaning?
I avoid heavy processing so the voice stays natural. If a recording is badly damaged, I'll tell you what trade-offs are needed before I start.
