I will analyze material shortages, bom and inventory availability
Manufacturing Systems, SAP EWM Application Support, Material Planning
About this Gig
Need clear visibility on material availability before it becomes a line-down situation? I build structured shortage and availability analyses for manufacturing operations.
What I do:
- Material availability analysis: stock vs open requirements
- Shortage visibility and risk flagging by material and time bucket
- BOM checks: structure, alternate parts, common-part usage
- Incoming material and inventory position review
- NPI / EOL material exposure analysis
What I do NOT claim:
- I don't run MRP, create demand forecasts, or own purchasing or production planning. I analyze the data you have and make the risk visible planning decisions stay with you.
How it works: you share your stock, BOM, and requirements data (Excel/CSV). I return a structured, reviewable workbook with shortage flags, exposure lists, and plain-language findings. No system access needed.
Background: ~5 years in electronics manufacturing in material planning and warehouse systems roles, doing exactly this analysis on live production data.

FAQ
Do you run MRP or create forecasts?
No. I analyze availability from your data. MRP, forecasting, purchasing, and planning decisions remain yours.
What data do you need?
Stock on hand, open requirements/orders, BOMs, and incoming/in-transit material — Excel or CSV.
What's an alternate/common part analysis?
I check where alternate parts can cover a shortage and where common parts concentrate your risk.
What is NPI/EOL exposure analysis?
For new-product-introduction or end-of-life phases, I flag materials at risk of excess or stockout during the transition.
Do you need access to our ERP?
No. Files you share are enough.
