What do you need to start?
Plans or a sketch with spans, the building use, number of floors, location and design code. I’ll tell you what’s missing before I begin.
Can you size a beam after I remove a wall?
Yes. Send the opening width, what sits above it, and the wall type. I’ll size the beam and its supports.
Can you check a member that’s already built?
Yes. Send dimensions, material and loads, and I’ll check whether it passes bending, shear, deflection and capacity.
Which codes do you work with?
[ACI 318, Eurocode, AISC, BS 8110.] Tell me which your project needs.
Concrete, steel or both?
[Both.] You get reinforcement details for concrete and section sizes for steel.
What will I receive?
A PDF report with loads, member forces, design checks and final sizes. Premium also includes the software model.
