Your app works, mostly. There is a crash you cannot reproduce, a build that stopped compiling after an Xcode update, or a feature that has been almost done for a month. The developer who built it is gone, or busy, or quoted you a full rewrite.

It usually is not a rewrite. I take over existing React Native and Expo codebases and ship on top of them.

8 of my apps are live right now on the App Store and Google Play, published under my own company. I maintain all of them across OS releases, SDK upgrades and store policy changes. That is the same work you are asking for.
