What file format will I receive? Is there any work you don't take?
You get an Excel file (.xlsx). It opens in Microsoft Excel, and you can also upload it to Google Sheets for free. I work in Excel only and don't deliver Microsoft Project (.mpp) files. I also don't take construction scheduling or Primavera P6 work.
What do I need to give you to start?
A short description of the project, your goal, the start date or deadline, and any task list or notes you already have. Rough bullet points are fine. I'll ask questions if anything is unclear.
Which package should I choose?
Count your main tasks. Small projects such as a simple launch or an event usually fit Basic. Projects with several people or phases fit Standard. Larger projects that need tracking fit Premium. If you're unsure, message me before ordering and I'll recommend one.
Will the plan be specific to my business or a generic template?
It's built specifically for your project, using your tasks, dates, team and risks. I review and adjust every plan myself before delivering it.
What does "critical path highlighted" mean in Premium?
I identify the chain of dependent tasks that determines your finish date and highlight those tasks by hand in Excel, so you can see which delays would push back your deadline. Excel doesn't calculate this automatically, so if you change the plan a lot later, the highlighting may need updating.
