FAQ
When Do I need Commercial Rights?
You need to purchase commercial rights as a gig extra to use the audio in any business setting or if you make money from the finished audio/video - including use internally, for eLearning and on corporate websites. For paid-for adverts (TV/Radio/YouTube etc.), you'll need broadcast rights instead.
When DON'T I need to add rights as a gig extra?
You don't need to add rights if you are only going to use the audio for your own personal use, and you don’t intend to make a profit out of using it. If you are a charity or not-for-profit organisation, I am happy to waive any additional rights fee. Please let me know before placing an order!
Revision Policy?
I offer one free revision but I want you to experience 100% customer satisfaction, so please do just let me know and we can talk through any other revisions and whether there will be an extra cost
Is there anything you will not record?
I am happy to record most things... I am unable to record content that is used for any illegal, immoral or defamatory purpose. But please contact me with any questions you may have on this.
What are full Broadcast Rights?
Purchase 'Full Broadcast Rights' in addition to Commercial Rights to be granted a license for Broadcasting... These include internet, radio, and TV "paid channels" including e.g. tv commercials, radio commercials, internet radio, music/video streaming platforms etc.
What is "timed audio sync"?
If you’ve already created your video or presentation, then you will need to purchase the Timed Audio Sync gig extra for this service. When you purchase this gig extra, I will record the voice over to match up with your video content and ensure that my performance matches up the way it should.
When should I use Social Media rights?
You will need to add this gig extra if the audio is used in any paid-for or boosted social media adverts or campaigns. This includes Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
