About this gig
I'm the singer/vocalist of several bands and projects. My main band is KFFR which is a Dutch Metal band. I offer several kinds of vocals. I can do clean or harsh Rock/Metal vocals as wel as screaming or grunting. My comfortable vocal range is somewhere between E2 and G4. I can go a bit lower or higher than that as you can hear in my samples but that's the most comfortable range for me to sing in.
I record at home on my Neumann TLM 102 microphone and Steinberg UR12 interface. Or, if you're in the Netherlands, I can come to your studio if you cover the travel expenses.
Please note that I need you to provide the music. I only provide vocals. If you contact me first I might be able to help you find someone who can help you with that.

Hi! My name is Michel Hoogervorst and I'm a voice actor and singer from the Netherlands.
Whether you need a voice for your explainer video, the voice of a scary monster or some stellar vocals for your song or score, I'm your guy!
In my home studio I record using a Neumann TLM102 or a Synco Mic-D2 depending on the use. I use a Steinberg UR12 interface and a Macbook with Reaper to record and edit.

Do I need to pay for the full length of the song?
No, just for the part that has vocals. If you have a 5 minute song with a one minute instrumental intro and 1 minute of didgeridoo solo's, you'll can just say it's 3 minutes. ;-)
Can I publish my song with your vocals on Youtube?
Yes. In fact you can publish it anywhere you want. It's your song and you've already paid me to sing it.
What equipment and software do you use?
I'm using a Neumann TLM 102 microphone plugged into a Steinberg UR12 interface and I'm wearing Røde NTH-100 headphones. I record on my Macbook into Reaper.
Can you mix and master my song?
Yes! Well, no, but yes! I work with a professional audio engineer who can mix my vocals into your song. It's a paid extra you can just select. If you need a complete multitrack mixed, then please contact me first. I'm sure we can work something out.
