FAQ
Do you design covers for Amazon KDP and ebook?
Yes — every fantasy book cover we design is built to Amazon KDP and ebook specs, with a print-ready full wrap (front, spine, back) on Standard and Premium. You'll get high-resolution files ready to upload.
What fantasy sub-genres do you cover?
All of them — romantasy, epic and high fantasy, dark fantasy, paranormal, urban fantasy and sword & sorcery. Share your world and comps and our team will match the look.
Do you do both illustrated and photographic fantasy covers?
Yes. Our designers work in both digital-painted/illustrated and photographic-composite styles, depending on your sub-genre and comps.
Can you design a series with matching spines?
Absolutely — the Fantasy Launch package is built for a professional launch, and our team will set up a custom offer for matching covers across your series.
What files will I receive?
JPG, PNG, PDF and a layered source file, plus a 3D mockup. Print-ready ebook + paperback files, with full commercial rights always included.

Working with HMD has been great! They listened and confirmed understanding of my cover requests and provided multiple versions, each one better than the last until I told them I was completely satisfied. They did require a little more instruction than I had hoped for, but in the end it was totally worth it.
