What do I need to provide for a pool permit?
Your property survey or site plan, pool shape and size (or the pool builder's layout), desired depths, equipment location and any city or HOA requirements. For pool decks, send the pool size, deck height and a sketch.
Is the PE stamp included in the price?
No, package prices do not include a PE stamp. If your city requires stamped drawings, please message me first with your project location for a custom quote.
Do you design both in-ground pools and above-ground pool decks?
Yes. I prepare permit plans for concrete/gunite in-ground pools and spas, and framing plans for decks around round or rectangular above-ground pools, including pergolas, stairs and railing.
Do you include pool barrier, fence and electrical bonding details?
Yes, in the Premium package. I show barrier / fence and gate requirements per ISPSC and local code, plus equipotential bonding and grounding details per NEC 680, which most cities require for pool permits.
Will you revise the drawings if the city has comments?
Yes. Plan review comments related to my scope of work are addressed free of charge within your package revisions. Design changes after approval are quoted separately.
